Supporting those who serve
Dani’s purpose is to truly lift lives so helping those who have dedicated their lives to protecting our freedom is an honour for her. As a trained and certified coach, she uses her expertise to support military personnel, service leavers and veterans through her development company, Lift This Life.
In addition to her coaching work, Dani guest lectures students from the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force and Civil Service in leadership styles as part of their Defence Leadership MSc.
Dani also focuses part of her work on addressing the unique challenges faced by women in male-dominated environments. Having spent most of her career in the automotive industry, where women made up 18% of the workforce, she sees similarities in the military, where only 10% of the UK Forces are represented by females. Therefore, she aims to develop greater inclusivity in her work.

Where it started
A recommendation from a military veteran led to an exciting opportunity at Cranfield University. Dr. Bryan Watters OBE, Professor of Defence Leadership and Management, invited Dani to guest lecture for the Defence Leadership MSc. He recognised the value of Dani’s approach, which combines enthusiasm with a focus on achieving tangible results. It has been a great privilege to contribute to the programme by sharing insights on leadership styles.
